Samsung Galaxy Note 20’s display gets EPD certification for environment-friendly production process

Back in August last year, Samsung introduced its new Galaxy Note 20 series, which consists of two handsets – Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. These S Pen powered flagship smartphones come with best in class processor, high-end displays alongside a premium look as well.

Nowadays, the display became the most important element of any smartphone that offers a truly smart experience to the users. Alongside bringing a big and premium display, phone makers also working to offer environment-friendly products that can’t affect nature.

And it looks like Samsung is working well in this segment as the Galaxy Note 20 just received the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) certification. According to TheElec, this certificate is given by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute to environmentally friendly products.

The organization set specific standards such as carbon emission, water usage, effect on water, etc to determine whether the production process planet-friendly or not. The OLED panel of Note 20 passed seven criteria of the government agency, said Samsung Display.
