It looks like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is not too away from its official launch because back-to-back leaks are revealing every detail of this device. For example, the recent leak revealed its IP rating, which ensures durability as well as dust and water resistance.

According to the latest info, this foldable device may feature a smaller battery than its predecessor, Galaxy Z Fold 2. Moreover, this was already leaked by a Chinese tipster TheElec but somehow it was not a prominent revelation. Meanwhile, the new leak from the 3C listings makes it quite obvious that the next foldable device will have a smaller battery.

3C listing details of Galaxy Z Fold 3

The Chinese listings revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will not only equipped with a smaller battery but also feature a dual battery system with a combined capacity of 4,275mAh. In which one of those batteries (EB-BF926ABY) has a rated capacity of 2,060mAh, while the other battery (EB-BF927ABY) has a potential of 2,215mAh.

However, if we imagine the phone with this battery size then it may not be able to offer a good SOT (screen on time) to its users. On the other hand, this will surely lead to power-efficient internals, most likely to feature a 5nm processor.

Expected specs of Galaxy Z Fold 3

From the previous reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to sport a 6.21-inch cover display including a 7.55-inch foldable panel. However, it was earlier exposed that this new device will not be powered by Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100. Therefore, it is speculated to feature a new Exynos processor with an AMD GPU.

Apart from this, the software part of this phone might be handled by the One UI 3.5 (Android 11) which is right now under development as per the sources. Besides, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z Fold 3 somewhere in July 2021 alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 2.
