On January 14, Samsung held the Galaxy Unpacked 2021 event to introduce the Galaxy S21 series flagships. At this event, the company unveiled several products such as Galaxy Buds Pro, Galaxy Watch Active 2 [Rose Gold], Galaxy SmartTag, SmartTag+, and the One UI 3.1 software system.

Following this, all of the above-mentioned devices became available to purchase except for the premium version of the Galaxy SmartTag. Moving on, Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy SmartTag+, a few days ago and it will available starting on April 16.

According to the latest information, Samsung has officially announced that the Galaxy SmartTag+ will launch in South Korea on April 16, 2021. The company said that the Galaxy SmartTag attracted the attention of the market as a mobile accessory that helps you easily check its location by attaching it to things.

Samsung released the Galaxy SmartTag+ is released in two colors – Black and Denim Blue with a starting price tag of 39,600 won. It can be purchased in open markets such as Samsung Digital Plaza nationwide, Samsung Electronics homepage, Coupang, 11th Street, G Market, and Naver Smart Store.

Galaxy SmartTag+: Highlights

This new Galaxy SmartTag+ comes with ultra-wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology so that it can pinpoint the location with greater accuracy. Furthermore, it also features augmented reality (AR) tech to visually guide you towards where your missing item is located using your smartphone’s camera.

Soon after the debut of the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung launched an accessories line that has been crafted in collaboration with three European artists namely Ricardo Cavolo (Spain), Steven Wilson (UK), and Yeye Weller (Germany).

The accessories lineup for Samsung Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra comprises three types of cases. Since these accessories are equipped with NFC (near field communication) technology, they automatically display animations on the screen when attached.

Customers who purchase one of the accessories will also receive a matching Galaxy Watch 6 face as a special gift. The collection is exclusively available for purchase from January 17, starting with 16 countries and extending to more than 20 markets by January 26.

Building on the company’s previous collaboration with contemporary artists, this new line of accessories will further enable users to take advantage of Samsung’s cutting-edge technology while still expressing their sense of style with distinctive art.

Three new flagship Galaxy S series phones will be unveiled this month. It’s also possible that Samsung may bring two new fast chargers for Galaxy devices to its current portfolio.

Tipster @rquandt revealed that Samsung is working on a new Charger Duo 50W with two USB-C wired fast charging ports. In addition, the 45W single-port charger is also getting refreshed, which could come as a new solution.
