Samsung Galaxy A22 gets BIS certified, India launch expected soon!
Starting this year, Samsung introduced its first smartphone, the Galaxy A32, which is the cheapest 5G offering from the company to date. Further, the Korean tech giant unveiled the Galaxy S21 flagships in mid-January. Moreover, it has also brought us new mid-range phones – Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72, which highlight some flagship-grade features.
Now, according to the latest information, a new certification approval revealed Samsung’s upcoming smartphone that has model number SM-A225F. And as per this piece of detail, it will be the Galaxy A22 4G. Although, this device has spotted on BIS certification, which is necessary for every electronic device to arrive in the Indian market.
Previously, we’ve met the Galaxy A22 5G for the first time in concept renders that suggested it could be equipped with a flat 6.5-inch LCD display and will available in four color options: Gray, White, Light Purple, and Light Green. Not surprisingly, it features a traditional notch on the display for the selfie camera.
Under the hood, it could be powered by an entry-level MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G chipset while its 4G version could have a MediaTek Helio chip. Moreover, the Galaxy A22 4G and 5G both may available in different memory versions such as 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM, and 6GB RAM / 128GB ROM.
Talking about camera specs, this affordable 5G smartphone could come with a quad camera implemented in a square-shaped housing at the rear including a 48MP primary camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, a depth camera, and a macro camera.
As per the previous reports, the leaked Samsung mini product roadmap indicated that the Galaxy A22 listed to be released in July this year. Meanwhile, an official confirmation from Samsung is still awaited.

Yesterday, we saw the Samsung Galaxy S24 series renders that revealed the phones’ design. While the Galaxy S24 and S24+ feature flat frame design, the S24 Ultra apparently brings the narrowest bezel in history. The same source now posted cropped images so you can better understand the design changes.
Samsung has slightly changed the aspect ratio of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This results in changes in the middle frame, and ditches the curved edges, indicating a flat display design. In the video below, you can see the transformation of the S23 Ultra into the upcoming S24 Ultra device.

As you can see in the comparison renders, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has an almost flat design as compared to its predecessor. The company has already reduced the curvature with the S23 Ultra this year, and it’s going to be flat, starting with the S24 Ultra next year.

Samsung recently unveiled its fifth-generation foldable smartphones in China, where they have different names and features than the global versions. The Samsung W24 is the rebranded version of the Galaxy Z Fold 5, while the Samsung W24 Flip is of the Galaxy Z Flip 5. These phones have some differences in aspects like RAM, weight, and wallpapers.
The Samsung W24 and W24 Flip come with exclusive wallpapers that are not available on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5.
