Samsung rolls out latest Android security updates faster than Google
Samsung smartphones run its own-developed user interface called One UI. The One UI is one of the best custom UI, which is based on Google’s Android operating system.
However, Google Pixel phones get every generation of Android OS ahead of any OEM’s handset even at the same time as its official release. Meanwhile, Samsung wins the race every month when it comes to security updates.
As always, the Korean phone maker released the April 2021 security patch to a number of Galaxy devices including smartphones and tablets. It is important to mention that Samsung has already started rolling out the latest security patch to its newer flagships ahead of 5 days of this month.
Moreover, the company has also delivered this security update to its several flagship and mid-range smartphones. On the other hand, the Pixel phones will start getting new security update from April 5, which shows how Samsung is even faster than Google’s official speed.
Aside from the regular security patches, Samsung’s software update also extends the performance of the Portrait Mode camera feature and ultrawide camera support for Pro Video mode
