Samsung introduced the One UI 3.1 with the Galaxy S21 flagships, which were launched back in January. This latest version of the One UI is an updated version of One UI 3.0. It comes with several new features like integration of Google’s apps, video call effects, removing GPS location while sharing photos, Eye comfort shield, Object Eraser, and more.

Here, we will explore one of the most popular features that One UI 3.1 offers, the Director’s view. This particular feature is one of the coolest features in the One UI 3.1, which allows users to capture video from all the cameras on the device simultaneously. This means that you can operate all the cameras available on the phone at the same time using the viewfinder. In addition, you can also switch between those cameras seamlessly.

Moreover, this camera feature is mainly used to shoot cinematic videos while making high-quality videos with the phone itself. Besides, it also allows the user to adjust the camera settings including ISO, exposure, shutter speed, white balance, and more. However, it is important to mention that you can also adjust the camera settings for the front camera also while capturing through the rear camera.

Lastly, for recording videos with seamless transitions between multiple camera angles via Director’s view, you need to follow these simple steps:

  1. From Camera, swipe to More, and then tap Director’s view.
  2. Tap the View type to switch between Single, Picture-in-picture, and Split views.
  3. Tap Record.
  4. Center the camera on your subject and tap one of the available windows to change lenses.
  5. Tap if the windows are not visible.
  6. To switch between the front and rear cameras, swipe the screen up or down.
  7. Tap Stop when you are finished recording.
