Samsung Galaxy A52 users receiving April 2021 security update
On March 14, 2021, Samsung unveiled three new mid-range smartphones including the Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72. The company is shipping these phones with Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. And also rolled out the first software update, which brings camera improvements and the Fun Mode feature.
According to the latest information, the company started releasing the second firmware update to the Galaxy A52 users, which increases the system security by installing the April 2021 security patch. However, the new security update is currently picking up by 4G variants and it will soon reach the 5G version too.
Identified via version number A525FXXU1AUC5, the new update is initially rolling out in a number of European markets including France, Portugal, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, etc.
Like every time, this firmware will be expanded to more regions in the coming days/weeks. Meanwhile, there are no new features or system optimizations included with this fresh OTA.
