According to the information, Samsung started sending a new software update with version number N960U1UES8FUB1 to the Galaxy Note 9 smartphones in the US. This new update improves system security by installing the latest Android patches released in March 2021.

Other than this, the latest firmware also includes enhancements for system functions as well as fixes for some unknown bugs for a better overall user experience.

Note: It will be expanded in various batches.

It is important to mention that currently, the unlocked Galaxy Note 9 models are receiving this security update in the US, while the carrier-locked units may grab it soon after additional software testing by carriers.
