New Samsung Free update brings podcasts feature

If you are having a Samsung Galaxy smartphone then you are definitely familiar with the Samsung Free app. This latest app was recently introduced alongside One UI 3 which includes various new features like the Google Discover feed.

Now, according to the info, Samsung started releasing a new Samsung Free update, which adds a new podcasts function in the content section. Furthermore, it also allows users to listen to 1000s of podcasts from ‘This American Life’, NPR, iHeartMedia, and more including news, articles, songs, speeches, etc.

Therefore, Samsung’s newer and older flagship devices such as Galaxy S21, Note 20, S20, Note 10, and S10 users can now download this update through the Galaxy Store.

After upgrading or downloading the Samsung Free app, you simply need to swipe left from the home screen and it will take you to the app itself, where you just have to reach the bottom showing the podcast section and listen.

What is the Samsung Free app?

Samsung Free app is actually the revamped version of Samsung Daily. It was introduced alongside the One UI 3.0 that shows all the news from various topics such as sports, entertainment, films, tech, etc. Besides, you can say that it is actually Samsung’s version of Google Discover feed.
