In 2020, Samsung sold around 7.79 million QLED TVs worldwide despite the Covid-19 pandemic and many reports have claimed that 2021 will also be quite good for the company in terms of premium TV sales.

Adding to this, the South Korean tech giant is expected to grow as the largest TV maker and it is assumed that it will sell around 12 million units this year which is 26 percent higher compared to the last year.

However, the reason behind the leading position of Samsung is its stronghold and a better understanding of the consumer’s needs which attracts them to buy Samsung TVs. Alongside this, the company not only sells TVs but also manufactures the panels which are actually the key part of a TV.

Talking about Samsung’s biggest rival – LG, is assumed to ship around 5.6 million units in 2021 which is 60% higher than its last year’s sales. Besides, the global TV shipments are projected to make around 223.09 million units in 2021 which is actually 1 percent less than 2020.

Lastly, by analyzing the whole report we come to a point that the recent pandemic condition will not harm the TV sales of Samsung including its premium TV range, transforming the company into a global leader.
