In the tech industry, we’ve encountered quite disappointing news this week as the world’s largest smartphone brand – Samsung has officially confirmed to skip its high-profile Note phones this year due to an imbalance between parts and supply.

Apart from this, a well-known tipster brought us Samsung’s mini product roadmap that revealed several upcoming devices along with their launch timeline and details about future Unpacked events.

According to the alleged roadmap, the South Koreans will launch Chrome-powered Chromebooks and Windows-powered Galaxy Book laptops at the company’s PC-focused Unpacked event in April 2021. And we now have initial information along with a set of renders regarding these products, courtesy of Evan Blass (via Voice).

Here’s our first look at Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360:

Evan recently shared some CAD renders of the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360, which gives us our first look at the company’s upcoming laptops that are expected to launch next month. The renders of these PCs show off the pretty sleek design and powerful features that are enough to catch up consumers’ attention away from Apple’s upcoming MacBook Pro.

Galaxy Book Pro 360:

As per the renders, the Galaxy Book Pro 360 looks similar to the Galaxy Book Flex in terms of design with an included 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to flip around and turn into a tablet-like gadget.

Galaxy Book Pro:

On the other hand, the Galaxy Book Pro is quite identical to the straightforward laptops that may be the successor to the Galaxy Book Ion. And both Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360 to be available in two different display sizes including 13-inch and 15-inch.

Previously, it was said that the Galaxy Book Pro series will also offer an S-Pen-equipped touchscreen convertible sibling in the form of the Galaxy Book Pro 360. And the Galaxy Book Pro to come in two colors including Blue and Silver while the 360 variants will be available in Navy and Gold color options.

These upcoming PCs are expected to feature 11th generation silicon from Intel, a choice of embedded or discrete (nVidia MX450) graphics to drive the full HD AMOLED displays, and connectivity options including Thunderbolt4 and available LTE cellular modem.

However, it is expected that the Cupertino tech giant will hold an Apple Event in April to launch the new iPad Pro 2021 and some more products. Meanwhile, the new MacBook Pro 2021 is still unconfirmed so it’s a good chance for Samsung to grow its share in the computer and laptop market by introducing new Galaxy Books ahead of Apple.

Lastly, it’s still unclear when will Samsung launch the Galaxy Book Pro and Pro 360. Besides, the specifications, availability, and pricing details are yet to come. We’ll keep you posted whenever any new information comes on this story. Stay tuned!
