Last week, Samsung announced the first high-end smartphones for 2021. These are the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra. These models get a newly designed camera island that extends into the frame. The updated S21 series camera design from Samsung is expected to be combined with other 2021 flagship models.
Samsung is the successor to the first folding phone launched in 2021, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. There is still some doubt about the name of this device. Recently, there have been rumors that Samsung will not call this model the Galaxy Z Flip 2 but will align the name with the Galaxy Z Flip 3 – Z Fold series. Two models of the second series have already been introduced in the form of the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is expected to feature narrow bezels – allowing more space to merge into a larger comfortable display without increasing the overall dimensions of the device.
For this, it seems necessary to adjust the hinge, because the as it extends quite far inwards for the Z Flip. As long as you use the widescreen edges, this is not a problem, but if they are narrow, you will need to adjust the keys accordingly – so our product render is suitable for this.
This shows that the improvement points implemented with the Z Fold 2 are in line with the expectations available with the Z Flip 3, for example, consider the 120 Hz upgrade rate of the flexible display. We hope to see a unique cleaning system on Samsung’s new clamshell phone to remove dust and dirt. The punch-hole camera system will probably be rebuilt and it will probably be smaller – it will not get much attention.
The Z Flip 3 comes first, but it will not be unveiled simultaneously on the S21 this year, and Samsung will have to wait until the spring of 2021. In the coming months, it becomes clear about Samsung’s plans for 2021.
