Samsung’s upcoming clamshell foldable phone may not be a full-fledged flagship

As we know, Samsung is continuously working to launch four foldable smartphones in the coming year including two foldable and two clamshell foldable phones. Moving forward, a new report claims that the upcoming clamshell foldable device will have a model number of SM-F720F.

It could be the Galaxy Z Flip 3 which will become the successor to the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. As per the model number, it is an international LTE variant. If it will be launched in 4G only variants so it could be powered by the older Snapdragon 855+ chipset.

If this rumor comes true and Samsung releases a foldable smartphone without 5G connectivity so it could be priced around $1,000. For now, the company has not stated about the upcoming foldable smartphones and their specifications. We’ve to wait until official information arrives.

As per the previous reports, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra on January 14, 2021. These devices will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 and the upcoming Exynos 2100 chipset. The top variant of the Galaxy S21 series will have the iconic S Pen support.
