Samsung is preparing to launch the latest Galaxy Chromebook 2 in the coming future. Just recently, its renders surfaced online that reveal its design which is quite similar to its predecessor.

Moving on, an alleged poster has recently appeared on Twitter showing its features and functionalities. As per the leaked image, Samsung Galaxy Chromebook 2 equips a 13.3-inch QLED touchscreen display, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Intel’s 10th Gen. Core i3 processor, an S Pen, and 178% louder speakers.

Furthermore, the “targeted battery life = 12+ hours” is a big improvement which indicates its battery lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge. It could launch with a price tag of $699. This laptop will launch in the US and sell by Samsung’s official store and Best Buy from February 21, 2021.

Previous reports reveal that the Galaxy Chromebook 2 could have a webcam, 2 USB Type-C ports, a full-sized keyboard, a metal body with a 2-in-1 convertible form factor, a headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a decently-sized trackpad.

Recently, Samsung has also introduced a newer laptop lineup including the Galaxy Book Flex 2, Galaxy Book Flex 2 5G, Galaxy Book Ion 2, and the Notebook Plus 2 for next year. All of these newer laptops are equipped with Intel’s 11th Generation CPU.

Samsung will start taking pre-orders for the latest laptops starting from December 21 to December 31, 2020. Early purchasers will also get the Galaxy Buds Live or the Galaxy Fit 2 for free as a pre-order gift.

This is the first tablet series to receive the One UI 6.1 update. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S9 series, other six Galaxy devices have also recently begun receiving this major update.

The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.  users can check new software updates manually with a handful of simple steps. Firstly, visit your Galaxy device’s “System Settings,” once done, scroll down and tap the “Software update” tab, followed by the “Download and install” button.
