Here’s how to join Samsung One UI 3.0 Beta program using Samsung Members app

The One UI 3.0 is the latest software offering from Samsung and comes with various new features that enhance the user experience. Ahead of the public release, Samsung tests the latest One UI version under the beta program.

The company has also opened the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta for several smartphones including Galaxy S20, Note 20, S10, Note 10 as well as Fold devices. However, One UI 3.0 is available for only a few devices in limited markets.

Early participants will be eligible to test the latest features offered by this Android 11 based One UI 3.0 system. Users will also have the option to feedback regarding the bugs, issues, or features improvements.

Below you can check the process of how to participate in the Samsung One UI 3.0 beta program via the Samsung Members app.

Before you begin:

  • It’s recommended that you back up your important data using Smart Switch.
  • The beta updates could come with bugs and issues.

Requirements:

  1. Samsung Members App (If not avaialble, download from Galaxy Store or Google Play Store)
  2. Your Samsung Account

How to Enroll One UI 3.0 Beta:

  1. Open Samsung Members app (Login, if not logged in)
  2. Click on Notice area (Bell icon)
  3. Tap on Notice image for One UI Beta Program
  4. Tap Enroll
  5. Agree to legal terms to complete the beta

After submission, users will be able to download and install the beta build.

To download the Software update use the instructions below.

  1. Go to Settings
  2. Software update
  3. Download and install
  4. Download updates manually

Important updates:

  1. The software update may not be available immediately after registration.
  2. Participation in the One UI Beta Program requires a Samsung Account.
  3. If you do not already have a Samsung Account, create one at https://account.samsung.com.
  4. The One UI Beta Program is available only for specific devices, OS versions, and countries.
  5. Beta program period and compatible devices vary by country.
  6. One UI features can differ depending on the device enrolled in the beta program.

Screen doesn’t detect single-finger touches

  1. It’s possible that ‘TalkBack’ feature might be on. To disable ‘TalkBack’, tap on the settings icon once to select, followed by a double tap to open it.
  2. Scroll down and open ‘Accessibility’ and go to ‘Installed Apps’. Double tap on ‘TalkBack’ and then tap once on the on and off switch at the top right.
  3. Tap on ‘Turn off,’ and the ‘TalkBack’ feature will be disabled. You can also turn off ‘TalkBack’ using Bixby by simply pressing and holding the Bixby button and saying “Turn off TalkBack”.

Display’s touch sensitivity is too low

  1. Any attachment to the screen may affect the touch sensitivity of the device. But the touch sensitivity can be easily changed by following a series of simple steps.
  2. Navigate to ‘Setting’ and select ‘Display’. Scroll down to find the option for ‘Touch Sensitivity’ and toggle it on.
  3. If the touch sensitivity issue persists, try removing your phone’s screen guard and retesting your phone.

Screen doesn’t detect S-Pen input

  1. Any third-party accessories with a magnetic component, such as a phone cover, can affect S Pen recognition.
  2. To fix this, remove the accessory and install a Samsung-authorized cover, and try again.
  3. For optimal S Pen performance, avoid exposure to magnetic objects.
