Samsung Galaxy Note 9 getting December 2020 security update [AT&T]

Just recently, Samsung has started to rollout December 2020 security patch for the Galaxy Note 9 from Germany. And now, this device is getting a new software update in the US which brings security improvements.

According to the information, AT&T has begun sending the December 2020 security update with a build version N960USQS5FTK2 for the Galaxy Note 9 smartphones in the US.

Other than the latest security patch, this new firmware update for the Galaxy Note 9 brings system stability improvements and enhancements to its features as well as fixes some bugs.

What about upcoming updates:

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 still receiving monthly security patch updates even after two years of its launch. Moreover, after ending its eligibility of getting monthly security updates, the Galaxy Note 9 will get two more years of quarterly security update support.

Major updates:

Samsung One UI 2.5 is the last major software update for the Galaxy Note 9 units, and they will not get a chance to experience the most advanced features with the One UI 3.0/Android 11 update.
