Samsung has started pushing a new update to its Galaxy XCover Pro devices along with December 2020 security patch. This latest firmware bearing software version G715FNXXS6ATK2 installs the latest security on the devices for improved system security and device stability.

Other than security optimizations this update does not add any new features to Galaxy XCover Pro smartphones. To check for the latest software updates on your device, go to Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.

Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy XCover 4 smartphones that can be identified with the build version G390FXXS6CTI2. Despite any other changes and new features, this update only brings the latest December 2020 security patch.

The security patches are aimed to install the latest security to keep the devices protected against threats and maintain your privacy. So far, Samsung has not yet released the security bulletin for the month of December and we expect it in the coming days.

However, the Korean firm has already started to release December 2020 security patch with its high-end Galaxy S20 smartphones along with One UI 3.0 beta updates. Besides this, the Galaxy S9 devices are also getting this latest firmware.

  • Open Settings
  • Scroll down to Software updates option
  • Then click on Download and install

The camera’s zoom issue seems to affect several Galaxy S23 series users, which has led to a lot of complaints on social media and community forums. Users have reported that the camera is not capturing clear images at these (between 16x and 19.9x) zoom levels.
