As previously reported, the S-Pen functionality for the Galaxy S21 smartphone is confirmed and will be implemented in the top-end model of the lineup, the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Does that mean this is the end of the Galaxy Note line up?
Many rumors were coming that Samsung will discontinue the Galaxy Note 21 series after providing the S-Pen functionality to the Galaxy S21 and later on to the fold smartphones. A recent report from the South Korean media gives some hope for the Note 21 lineup.
Although, Samsung could change the strategy for the Note phones from the next year but the company may not put an end to them. From the last couple of years, Samsung is releasing two models in the Note series which could change with the Galaxy Note 21 and the Korean firm may only launch a single model in the lineup.
As of now, the South Korean tech giant is preparing for the launch of its Galaxy S21 series smartphones. These new flagships will be unveiled in mid-January 2021 which is earlier than the companies usual schedule. By launching the devices earlier than usual, Samsung is looking to boost their sales in response to Apple’s iPhone 12 which is also a 5G smartphone.
