After the launch of the Galaxy S21, Samsung is also planning to add a new foldable device in the Galaxy Z series. According to the latest news coming from tipster IceUniverse, next year, Samsung will increase its lineup of foldable phones offering innovative features such as a camera under the panel, an S-Pen with second-generation UTG, and more to step ahead of its competitors.

Furthermore, a patent filed in the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) reveals that the next foldable devices could come with a sliding keyboard and a double side-folding design. However, nothing is certain on this matter at the moment.

The previous report suggests that Samsung could launch three new foldable devices next year that are supposed to be:

  • Galaxy Z Fold Lite
  • Galaxy Z Fold 3 (S-Pen support UTG)
  • Galaxy Z Fold S with “in and out” folding display

It’s also expected that the inclusion of S-Pen functionality in the foldable devices and the upcoming Galaxy S21 might bring an end to the Note series. As in 2021, we may not see the successor of the Galaxy Note 20 lineup.
