Samsung has already started sending the latest November Security patch before the start of this month. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 becoming the first device to get this update at the end of October, followed by Galaxy Xcover Pro and A2 Core.
The company is now rolling out the November security update to its Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus devices. This new firmware comes with the software versions G960FXXSCFTJ3 and G965FXXSCFTJ3 for Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus respectively.
This update installs the latest November security patch for improved security and device stability. Till now the company has not published its security bulletin for this month but we can expect in the coming days.
Currently, the latest OTA for Galaxy S9 devices is available in Germany and will soon expand to other countries. Other than the security improvements this update does not bring any new features for the devices.
To check for the update manually, go to Settings > Software Update > then tap on Download and install.
The Galaxy S9 is a flagship lineup that was launched with pre-installed Android 8 Oreo-based Samsung Experience 9.0 and since then these devices have received two major Android updates. These smartphones are currently running on the latest Android 10 with One UI 2.5. They are currently listed for receiving monthly security updates.
These devices were launched with some high-end features such as a curved edge display, powerful Exynos 9810 processor, Quad HD+ super AMOLED curved edge-to-edge display, and in many interesting colors.
Samsung Galaxy A23 Android 13/One UI 5.0 update is out, download now!
Samsung Galaxy A23 has joined the company’s rapidly-growing list of Galaxy devices getting the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. Along with a handful of new features and multiple improvements, this update also brings the November 2022 security patch for privacy enhancements.
The company is releasing the Android 13 update for Galaxy A23 with build version A235FXXU1BVK8. Currently, it is dispatching in a few countries including Ukraine and Russia, however, Samsung should not take much time to spread it to more customers all over the world.
If you are using a Samsung Galaxy A23 smartphone and are excited about its first major software update, you can now visit its Settings to check the update now. From here, enter the Software update section and tap on the Download and install option.
However, it only supports two major Android upgrades and the current Android 13 is one of them. Next, it should only receive the Android 14 update and security patches for three more years.
One UI 5.0 features:
Samsung brings a lot of changes to the Galaxy user interface. It brings revamped Quick settings panel and Notification panel, new and bolder app icons, and smoother animations. The company further adds a set of new customization functions including 16 Color Palettes, new tools to personalize the lock screen, Stack widgets for the home screen, and others.
As far as the features are concerned, there is the Extract text from images feature, Per-app languages, Notification permissions, swipe gestures for easier multitasking, the ability to disable RAM Plus, Camera watermark, Lockmown mode, and more.
The company further provides more convenience for using certain functions that comes under new Connected devices, Modes and Routines, and Privacy and security menus in the Settings.

Samsung Galaxy M22 picks up its Android 13 update with One UI 5.0
The Galaxy M22 is the latest Samsung phone to receive the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update. The company has released this major software update for this budget phone in Europe initially, whereas, a global rollout should happen shortly.
This update contains plenty of exciting features for Galaxy M22 users. The company has revamped its user interface and improved system animations for a smoother navigation experience. At the same time, it also installs the October 2022 security patch for privacy enhancements.

Samsung serves December 2022 security update to Galaxy S20 in Europe
Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra phones have started installing the December 2022 Android security patch update in Europe. This update improves the device’s performance and fixes some unwanted issues and errors.
The company recently released its December 2022 patch details, which mention fixes for dozens of privacy and security-related issues and vulnerabilities. These include five critical, sixty high, and two moderate levels of CVEs along with thirteen SVEs from Google and Samsung.
Aside from these, the update commonly improves the system security to maintain your files and data protected on your phone and keep them away from viruses. Additionally, the optimized stability ensures an uninterrupted performance without any crashes or lagging.
Furthermore, the Galaxy S20 smartphones have recently grabbed the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update, which installed plenty of new features and improvements to the devices. However, if you are facing any issues after bringing Android 13 to your phone, you should install the latest security patch as it might have resolved some of those errors.
