Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 grabbing November 2020 security patch

Samsung started to rollout the November 2020 security update for the Galaxy devices before the start of the month. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was the first device to receive this update at the end of October itself and then followed by other smartphones including Galaxy XCover Pro and Galaxy A02 Core. These new optimizations are also rolling out for several Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

The company is now sending a new software update for its Galaxy Tab S6 devices that brings the latest November 2020 security patch. This update installs the latest security patch for improved system security and device stability.

These security improvements and optimization for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 come with build version T865XXU4BTK2. Other than the security improvements this firmware does not add any new features to the device.

To check for the update manually on your Galaxy devices go to Settings > Software Update > then tap on Download and install.

Previously, these Tab S6 devices have received the September 2020 security patch in the month of October that also brought the security optimizations despite of any new features.
