Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G

Just recently, Samsung has started to roll out the One UI 3.0 beta for the Galaxy Note 10 devices for users in South Korea, and the UK. On the other side, users in other countries will soon be able to join the beta program. Meanwhile, there is an issue that appeared after the installation of One UI 3.0 first beta.

According to the users, when they enable the dark mode feature from either the system menu or the quick setting panel, it does not changes the system theme and remains at the default theme. In general, enabling the dark mode option applies a dark theme.

Samsung phones come with One UI system software that comes with a system-wide dark theme called Dark Mode, which helps users to use their smartphones for continued hours and minimizes the effect of blue light coming from your phone’s display.

Since we’re talking about the One UI 3 beta build, it’s common to see new bugs in the user interface and the overall features of the software system. However, an issue in the dark mode switch is not normal.

Currently, Samsung has not promised anything on this matter but it’s expected that the fix may roll out with the next beta software update for the Galaxy Note 10 device users. You can also check the video to get a detailed look at this bug from here.

Samsung Magic V5

HONOR is getting ready to launch its new foldable phone – the Magic V5. The company announced that it will be the thinnest foldable phone in the world. That’s a bold claim about Honor Magic V5, especially since Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 7 is just around the corner and is also expected to be really slim.

Right now, the OPPO Find N5 holds the record for the thinnest foldable at 8.93mm thick. HONOR hasn’t said exactly how thin the Magic V5 will be, but their last model, the Magic V3, was 9.3mm thick. So the new one will definitely be slimmer, maybe even beating OPPO’s record.

HONOR will officially unveil the Magic V5 on July 2 in China, which is just a week before Samsung’s big Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9. Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Flip 7 at that event. HONOR wants to get ahead by launching first and offering a strong alternative to Samsung.

The Magic V5 phone is expected to have a 200MP telephoto camera, a big 6100mAh battery with fast 66W charging, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip inside. This phone might feature a big 8-inch display and a smaller 6.45-inch screen on the outside.

Some leaks have already revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will have a slim design, but with a noticeable camera bump. Since the frame is thinner, the camera setup on the back will stick out more. However, the exact thickness of the phone hasn’t been revealed yet.

Both the Honor Magic V5 and Galaxy Z Fold 7 are expected to launch soon, so we’ll get more details about them in the coming days. That’s when we’ll also find out which one is slimmer.

Samsung Z Fold 7 Galaxy AI

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Flip 7, and Flip FE may introduce permanent free access to all Galaxy AI features. This leak brings a breath of peace for Galaxy users, who can’t give up on AI features if they go paid or subscription-based.

Galaxy device pross release usually comes with a common footnote: Galaxy AI features are free till the end of 2025. This Samsung marketing raised concerns that the Galaxy AI may go paid by the end of this year, but it might not happen.

Leaker PandaFlashPro shed light on Samsung’s potential Galaxy AI and Gemini plans for the upcoming foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip FE. Let’s dive into the details of what could be coming:

Gemini Advanced

Like the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung will offer a free Gemini Advanced subscription with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and even the budget Flip model.

Gemini Advanced will be available for free for six months. You will also get 2 terabytes of cloud storage as part of a 6-month Gemini Advanced freebie with new foldables.

Galaxy AI – Permanently free!?

At Unpacked, Samsung might make it official that all Galaxy AI features will remain permanently free. If it happens, it will be a huge relief for existing Galaxy smartphone users, too, as AI features are quite popular among fans.

The leaker noted that Galaxy AI features like the Generative Edit, Live Translate, and Writing Assist tools will go permanently free. There’s a possibility of Samsung’s unveiling of some exclusive features that would be available as a subscription.

Z Flip 7 FE – Full Galaxy AI support

Samsung may give a full-fledged Galaxy AI treatment to its budget Flip phone as well. The Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE is said to support all the AI and GenAI features like the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Fold 7.

It’s not a surprising input as the company gave the same AI love to the Galaxy S24 FE. However, it’s great to see that there’s no AI trade-offs when users prefer buying a cheaper Flip model.

2027 iPhones to adopt Samsung’s advanced LTPO3 OLED in big display upgrade

Apple iPhone 16

Apple is set to overhaul its 2027 iPhones with a power-saving Samsung LTPO3 OLED display upgrade. Reports suggest the company will use advanced LTPO, promising better battery life, especially for the ultra-thin iPhone Air.

The US tech giant has already tested LTPO3 in its 2024 Watch Series 10. The Samsung LTPO3 OLED display allowed for improved battery efficiency, and now Apple aims to bring it to 2027 iPhones. Samsung and LG Display are likely suppliers.

The new LTPO3 OLED applies oxide to the driving thin-film transistor, a key component that controls screen brightness. This shift reduces power consumption compared to earlier LTPO versions, which used oxide only for switching TFTs.

The iPhone 17 series, launching in late 2025, will use LTPO2 OLEDs with oxide on two switching TFTs. By 2027, Apple plans to upgrade to LTPO3, starting with the iPhone Air, which needs efficient displays due to its slim design.

Apple is expected to finalize its LTPO3 decision by Q3 2025, giving suppliers time to prepare for 2027 production. LTPO technology has evolved over time. The 2018 Apple Watch 4 used LTPO1 with one oxide switching TFT.

Samsung Display

LTPO2, seen in the 2023 Apple Watch Ultra 2 and iPhone 16 Pro, used two. LTPO3 marks a significant leap, with manufacturing LTPO3 displays being complex, requiring new equipment, potentially increasing the cost burden.

LG Display’s recent 1.26 trillion won ($920 million) investment, announced in June 2025, likely includes preparations for this technology. Samsung may need less investment due to its larger production capacity.

Apple’s foldable iPhone may arrive in 2026 with Samsung at the heart of it

Samsung conductive Key button patent

In today’s tech world, foldable phones have been gaining attention, and now Apple is finally joining the trend. A new report reveals that Apple is working on its first foldable iPhone, and Samsung will offer displays for it.

Apple is getting ready to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2026. Well-known tech analyst Guo Mingqi recently shared that Apple is planning to release a premium foldable iPhone. The word “premium” suggests it will be one of the most expensive iPhones yet.

Teaming up with its long-term iPhone assembly partner, Foxconn, Apple is to start this new project. Foxconn is expected to begin work on the foldable iPhone later in 2025, either in the second half of the third quarter or in the early fourth quarter.

The most interesting thing is that Samsung, Apple’s longtime competitor, will be making the displays for the first foldable iPhone. Samsung is a company that already offers foldable phones, including the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold models.

Apple iPhone 16 Pro

Samsung is planning to produce 7 to 8 million foldable iPhone displays each year for Apple. It shows how serious this partnership is for the foldable iPhone.

In current foldable phones, the visible crease that appears in the middle of the screen is a big issue. Apple and Samsung are said to be working closely to fix this issue. They aim to create a screen that looks smooth and seamless when unfolded.

So far, Apple hasn’t shared the exact price of the foldable iPhone or shown any official images. But since it’s called a “premium” device, it’s expected to cost more than today’s iPhones. This move marks Apple’s first big step into the foldable phone market. Stay tuned for more information.

Samsung handed Galaxy S26 GPU task to a Huawei veteran: Rumor

Samsung Galaxy S Ultra Gameplay

Galaxy S26 family’s Exynos 2600 may bring Samsung GPU, and the project is being led by a former Huawei graphics veteran. The latest rumor solidifies previous inputs, pointing to Samsung’s work on an in-house graphics processing unit.

Samsung has been using AMD’s Xclipse GPUs since the Exynos 2200, coming up in chips like the Exynos 2400 and Exynos 1480. They’ve been solid, but rumors say Samsung is ready to craft its own GPU for the Exynos 2600.

The AMD partnership brought solid performance, especially for ray-tracing games. Samsung seems to want more control over its chip designs. An in-house GPU could reduce costs and allow better optimization for Galaxy devices.

Early leaks claim the Exynos 2600’s GPU will score around 5800 points in the 3DMark Wild Life Extreme Test, a 60% improvement over the Exynos 2400. This suggests a big leap in Galaxy S26 graphics performance.

The Exynos 2600 is expected to use Samsung’s cutting-edge 2nm GAA process. Prototype production has started, with mass production planned for late 2025. This chip could power the Galaxy S26 and S26+ in select markets.

The Exynos 2600 will go head-to-head with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 and Apple’s A19 Pro chips to be used in the iPhone 17 Pro. Leaks say it might beat Apple’s A18 Pro in multi-core tasks, though single-core scores trail.

Samsung’s betting big on its own GPU, and it’s exciting stuff. Samsung is expected to finalize the Exynos 2600 design by Q3 2025. If yields improve and the rate remains stable, it could power European Galaxy S26 models.

The Korean tech giant’s cutting-edge 2nm process has faced yield issues, with early tests at 30%. The company aims for 50–60% yields to make production viable. A special task force is working to improve efficiency for the Exynos 2600.
