Samsung Galaxy S9 series was launched at the “Mobile World Congress” in Barcelona which was held on February 25, 2018, on the occasion of the 9th-anniversary of the Samsung Galaxy S-series.

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ were unveiled at the event with pre-installed Samsung Experience 9.0 based on Android 8 Oreo. Still, both of these phones of the Galaxy S9 series is receiving the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update in many smartphone markets. So we’ve decided to keep a record of the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy S9 and S9+ phones.

Based on the updates policy of Samsung, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ has already received two major Android OS upgrades. So it clears that the Galaxy S9 series phones will not get a chance to experience the latest One UI 3.0 which is based on Android 11. Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are currently listed to receive monthly security updates.
