In 2018, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Note 9 along with powerful hardware and software capabilities. This S-pen powered smartphone was also awarded as the ‘Best Phone of the year’ by Consumer Reports.

The Galaxy Note 9 comes pre-installed Samsung Experience 9.5 based on Android 8 Oreo. According to the Samsung update policy, the Galaxy Note 9 has already received two major Android upgrades. This device is no longer eligible to get any other major upgrades including the upcoming Android 11 based One UI 3.0.

Talking of major updates, Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is receiving the One UI 2.5 update and new system security. The One UI update for Samsung brings many new features and enhancements to the Galaxy devices including new Wi-Fi quality measurement that will now show speed as Very Fast, Fast, Normal, or Slow.

It now supports the Bitmoji stickers to be displayed on the Always-on Display screen, there are enhancements in the Samsung Keyboard with a new feature added to keyboard search that allows you to search Youtube.

Furthermore, it improves the quality and stability of the camera for an enhanced shooting experience, a new feature has been added the message that allows users to send SOS location-sharing message every 30 minutes for 24 hours.
