Forget the Fold7, Samsung has a TriFold phone planned for October

Samsung is working on a new kind of foldable phone that can fold into three parts, the Galaxy Z TriFold. This new device is expected to be a big step forward in foldable phone technology. Now, we may have a better idea of when this Samsung Galaxy TriFold is coming out.
A well-known tech tipster, Ice Universe, shared on Weibo that Samsung’s tri-fold phone will launch in October 2025. It means that we might see the new device just before the end of the year, as Samsung had earlier promised.
Aside from this, the tipster also reveals that Huawei is expected to launch its tri-fold phone in September, just before Samsung. The design of the Galaxy TriFold is expected to use a G-shaped hinge system with two inward folds. This is different from Huawei’s Mate XT 2, which uses one inward and one outward fold.
Last week, Samsung’s mobile chief said they plan to launch the tri-fold phone before 2025 ends. There were also earlier leaks about the phone’s specs. It’s said to have a large 10-inch folding screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and the same rear cameras as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, including a 200MP main camera.
Samsung has also recently officially registered the name “Galaxy Z Trifold” in South Korea. This suggests that a foldable phone with three panels and two hinges could be on the way soon.
However, Samsung’s tri-fold might be limited to Korea and China, at least at first. It’s also expected to be very expensive, with a price around $2,900.
Earlier in July 2025, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 7 smartphone, and pre-orders have also been started. If you are thinking of buying a more premium and unique smartphone, then you should wait till October as the Galaxy Trifold is reportedly coming.

Samsung may time Galaxy S25 FE, Tab S11 Ultra launch to steal iPhone 17 spotlight

Apple is expected to launch the new iPhone 17 series in September 2025, and Samsung is also said to be preparing to unveil the Galaxy S25 FE around the same timeline. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 lineup fall into different segments than Apple’s flagship smartphones, but a similar launch window would surely steal the spotlight.
Tipster RolandQuandt on BlueSky hinted that Samsung may launch the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 series almost two months later. The source has quoted the recently leaked press renders of these two products by leaker EvanBlass.
Based on the info, the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 series might be unveiled in mid-to-late September 2025. It’s the same timeline that Apple might finalize to reveal its new iPhone 17 flagship smartphones.
Samsung can time the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 launch targeting Apple, but the iPhone 17’s potential consumers might stick to their choice. The impact would be less on scale but the Samsung effect won’t leave Apple alone in the spotlight.
Earlier this year, Samsung released the flagship Galaxy S25 smartphones. Now, the company is working on an affordable option with a flagship-level experience. It’s going to be released in the US later this year with the Exynos 2400 chip.

On the flip side, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is expected to be announced alongside the Tab S11 and Tab S11 Lite later this year. It might join the S25 FE launch timeframe, but it’s up to Samsung if it goes that way of revelation.

Samsung’s upcoming Trifold phone might not feature a surprise identity

Samsung is reportedly getting ready to launch a brand-new type of foldable phone. The company has officially registered the name “Galaxy Z Trifold” in South Korea. This suggests that a foldable phone with three panels and two hinges could be on the way soon.
On July 15, the name Galaxy Z Trifold has been filed for trademark protection in Samsung’s home country. This is the first big hint that Samsung is preparing for its tri-fold smartphone.
We have already seen several rumors about this upcoming Samsung Galaxy TriFold phone. Now, the trademark of this name gives us an indication that Samsung’s rumored triple-folding phone may soon become a real product.
However, it might not feature any surprise identity as the word “Trifold” describes the phone’s design, which will likely fold in three sections using two hinges. Still, it might not be the final name Samsung uses when the phone launches. Notably, it’s expected to be a part of the Galaxy Z series and could share some components similar to the latest Galaxy Z Fold 7.
The new device appeared with the model number SM-F968N. It is currently under development mainly for the South Korean market, possibly also for China. This phone may not be released in Europe or the US at first.
The trademark filing and ongoing development with the internal codename Q7M show that Samsung is getting closer to launching this Galaxy Z Trifold device. Stay tuned for more information.

Rumored Galaxy S26 Ultra design pushes screen to the edges

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is shaping up to be the ultimate flagship smartphone. Recent reports suggest the screen size may increase a little over the S25 Ultra, and a new leak has more details about the bezel-free design of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Galaxy S26 Ultra may sport a 6.9-inch screen, which would be exactly 6.89 inches. For comparison, the Galaxy S25 Ultra brings a 6.86-inch screen, but it’s being marketed as 6.9 inches across the platforms, including Samsung.
If the reports hold true, Galaxy S26 Ultra’s screen could be 0.03 inches bigger than the S25 Ultra’s. Meanwhile, this increment is unlikely to be reflected in the dimensions of the upcoming flagship as Samsung is making the bezels thinner.
Tipster Phoneart (IceUniverse) believes that Samsung might not tweak the width of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, keeping it 77.6mm. The screen size increment might be realized by reducing the bezels further, which are currently 1.32mm in S25 Ultra.
Galaxy Z Flip 7 is the real example of a nearly bezel-free screen on the cover panel. The latest flip phone comes with a full-view display and is expanded to the edges. The S26 Ultra would leverage this shift to devise even more screen area.
The leaker assumes that the bezel thickness of the Galaxy S26 Ultra would be just 1.15mm, or it won’t go beyond 1.2mm. The S25 Ultra is already considered an all-screen phone, and the S26 Ultra is expected to be Samsung’s best yet.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features slimmer bezels
Details are based on previous reports and the leaker’s assumptions. The source is trustworthy and has a solid track record of leaking info about products early. If the rumors turn correct, the Galaxy S26 Ultra would be an all-screen design flagship.

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra press images emerge with design confirmation

Samsung is gearing up to launch its highly anticipated 2025 Galaxy S series FE model and Galaxy Tab S series tablets. Ahead of the official unveiling, press renders of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and Galaxy S25 FE have been leaked by well-known tipster @evleaks on X, giving fans a detailed preview of the upcoming devices.
The Galaxy S25 FE render shows a polished and elegant design in a whitish color shade, featuring a sleek linear camera layout similar to its predecessor. However, the camera rings are now cleaner and more defined, offering a sharper appearance.
Moreover, the Galaxy S25 FE also seems to offer a higher screen-to-body ratio than the Galaxy S24 FE. It enhances its visual appeal with a more immersive display.

On the other side, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra sports a modern, minimalist design. The leaked renders highlight both the front and back of the device, revealing support for the S Pen.
Unlike the Tab S10 Ultra, which featured a vertical camera layout with a prominent strip for the S Pen, the S11 Ultra opts for a simpler approach. It retains the dual-camera setup, but with larger rings placed closer together and without the extended strip for a cleaner back panel.

The front of the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra shows a large display with slightly thinner bezels and a small notch at the top for the front camera. An S Pen confirms stylus support for drawing and note-taking.
With these updated designs, Samsung seems to focus on delivering a more refined and premium experience across both the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra. The official launch is expected soon.
