Samsung Galaxy S6 series accidentally gets a new software update

Last month, Samsung begin to push a new software update for such as Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge devices. However, Samsung doesn’t want to stop there because now, we’ve to talk about a new update for the Galaxy S6 series.

After completing its software update lifecycle, the Galaxy S6 series phones recently begin to receive a new update with a security patch of June 2018 to improve the security of your device.

SOFTWARE VERSIONS:

  • Galaxy S6 – G920FXXS6ETI6
  • Galaxy S6 Edge – G925FXXS6ETI6
  • Galaxy S6 Edge+ – G928FXXS6ETI6

The update is currently spotted in European countries and it should expand widely in other regions. Moreover, I think it is a surprising firmware update for all of these devices of the Galaxy S6 series.

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings and tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
