Samsung is now rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S20 series flagships in the U.S. The unlocked phones in the country are receiving the latest November 2020 security patch to keep your device secure against threats.
According to the information, the firmware update comes with software versions: G981U1UES1BTJ2, G986U1UES1BTJ2, and G988U1UES1BTJ2 for Galaxy S20 5G, S20+ 5G, and S20 Ultra 5G respectively.
Other than the latest security patch for the Galaxy S20 series, this update doesn’t bring any new features or system enhancements. So far, Samsung didn’t share the November 2020 security patch details but expect this in the next few days.
Apart from the security updates, the Galaxy S20 series may soon get the stable build of the latest Android 11 based One UI 3.0 for the device owners who are currently on One UI 2.5. The previous report reveals that the company will start sending One UI 3.0 in November or December this year.
If you want to check for the update manually, just open your device and go to the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.
