November 2020 security patch is now rolling out for the Galaxy Note 20 series

Samsung has started to rollout the November 2020 security patch with the Galaxy Z Fold 2, later the Galaxy XCover Pro and Galaxy A02 Core received the latest security patch. Just recently, the Galaxy S10, S20, and Note 10 series got the latest security patch.

Even, the 4G variants of the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra have also started getting November 2020 security patch. Now, the Galaxy Note 20 5G and Note 20 Ultra 5G collecting a new firmware update that installs the latest One UI security patch released in November 2020.

Software versions:

  • N981BXXS1ATJA – Galaxy Note 20 5G
  • N986BXXS1ATJA – Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G

So far, the company has not published the details of the CVEs fixed in this patch, it will be noticed in the coming days. Other than the latest security patch, this firmware doesn’t bring any new features or system enhancements.

Aside from the regular updates, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series users are waiting for the stable rollout of the One UI 3.0 that is based on Android 11. While some power users started experiencing the upcoming update as a beta tester of the One UI 3.0 public beta program.

According to the previous reports, the stable build of Samsung One UI 3.0  will start rolling out for eligible Galaxy devices from November or December this year.
