T-Mobile Galaxy S10 5G gets One UI 2.5 update with new features and September 2020 security patch

Previously, T-Mobile has started sending One UI 2.5 update for Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ phones with September 2020 security patch. The carrier is now rolling out a new software update for its locked Galaxy S10 5G devices in the U.S.

According to the information, Galaxy S10 5G receiving Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update with a software version of G977TUVU5DTH7. Samsung’s One UI 2.5 brings a number of new features. This update also installs September 2020 security patch for improved device security.

One UI 2.5 brings a number of features to Samsung Notes to help you done work faster. With the updated Reminder app, you can preset time and location for upcoming meetings and tasks.

How to check for updates manually:

  1. Tap Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
  2. Wait for the device to check for updates.
  3. Tap OK > Start.
  4. When the restart message appears, tap OK.
