Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE might be equipped with an older Exynos chip. Over the past few weeks, a lot of rumors surfaced online, but the latest input coming from a credible source somewhat clears the air of confusion.

AndroidAuthority found that Samsung might use Exynos 2400 or Exynos 2400e chip in the Galaxy Z Flip FE. The outlet claims to have assessed code from reliable sources, which indicates that a Samsung B7R device will include the “S5e9945” processor.

Notably, B7R refers to a Flip phone different from the Galaxy Z Flip 7. At the same time, S5e9945 is a product code of Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400/2400e chip.

In late 2024, it was rumored that the Galaxy Z Flip FE would get Exynos 2400e. Samsung is said to utilize a comparatively affordable IPoP (Integrated Package on Package) packaging for fabrication.

Samsung has used Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy S24 series and Exynos 2400e in the S24 FE. The latter version of the chipset features a slightly underclocked CPU core.

Exynos 2400/2400e powering the S24 series proven mature chipset. Be it Galaxy AI or seamless performance, the processors perform well; there’s no complaint of excessive overheating.

Samsung might entirely cancel the Exynos 2500 or could keep it in the pipeline for a future device. If the Galaxy S25 FE comes out, the device may be equipped with the company’s 3nm processor.

Samsung might bring major changes to the next year’s flagship smartphone. A new Galaxy S26 Ultra rumor suggests that one of the experimented prototypes features significant changes (even in the Telephoto setup) over its predecessor.

According to the rumor, the Galaxy S26 Ultra might drop one Telephoto camera. The device may also boost the battery capacity to 5500mAh leveraging stacked battery tech. The Bluetooth capability may also be regained by the S26 Ultra’s S Pen.

Per the rumor, a Galaxy S26 Ultra prototype has a triple rear camera setup. The module includes a 200-megapixel primary, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, and a 200-megapixel Telephoto camera with around 4x optical zoom feature.

It seems Samsung plans to bring a 200MP Telephoto rather than retaining a 10MP and a 50MP telephoto in the S26 Ultra. Meanwhile, the upgraded Telephoto may be multi-functional to fill the gap created by a Telephoto’s removal.

With the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Samsung ditched Bluetooth from the S Pen stylus. There is a lot of chaos after this shift, which the company may address with the reversal of Bluetooth features on the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s S Pen.

Galaxy S26 Ultra might also bring a long-delayed battery upgrade. Samsung has reportedly exceeded the 5000 battery capacity limit with stacked battery tech and trying to raise the bar even further beyond 5500mAh capacity.

Samsung may launch the Galaxy S26 series in the first quarter of the next year. The company may have been testing different prototypes internally. However, prototype-level changes couldn’t always apply in the consumer unit.

Apple devices could soon work more easily with Samsung Galaxy devices, thanks to new rules from the European Union (EU). The company may soon allow Samsung Galaxy devices to connect better.

Currently, Apple’s features like AirDrop, AirPlay, and notifications only work with Apple products, such as iPhones, iPads, and Macs. But the EU wants Apple to change that, allowing these features to work with devices from other companies, like Samsung. The EU has sent instructions under the Digital Market Act (DMA).

The EU has asked Apple to make a few key changes. This includes letting non-Apple devices use AirDrop and AirPlay. Consumer Reports picks Galaxy S25 Ultra over iPhone’s best efforts in the US

Samsung has another flagship phone in its pipeline with a slim form factor. Earlier this year, the company teased the Galaxy S25 Edge. A new input suggests that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge in India next month.

A source citing tipster AbhishekYadav claimed that Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will launch in India next month. It doesn’t come as a surprise development as we’re hearing about the phone’s April debut even since the first reveal.

In a recent development, Samsung’s SM-S937B has surfaced on BIS certification. The model number points to the S25 Edge, which has been officially approved to be launched and sold in the Indian smartphone market.

Recently, the phone’s Korean variant was benchmarked on the Geekbench browser. The listing revealed a full-fledged Snapdragon 8 Elite powers the Galaxy S25 Edge, so potential buyers don’t have to worry about the performance.

The Galaxy S25 Edge is coming earlier than the iPhone 17 Air. Apple’s slim iPhone is said to be slimmer than the S25 Edge, but the Samsung flagship would bring some meaningful upgrades like a 200-megapixel primary and an ultrawide camera.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. It’s the same chipset as used in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. There were rumors that Samsung might opt for the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite version.

The latest Geekbench listing of the Galaxy S25 Edge reveals Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It’s an octa-core processor with a 2+6 core CPU cluster. The peak frequency of the AP is 4.47GHz, the same as the capabilities of the S25 Ultra’s chip.

The S25 Edge’s Korean unit was benchmarked on the Geekbench. The phone scored 2969 single-core points and 9486 multi-core points. The device was paired with 12GB of RAM and the operating system running was Android 15 (One UI 7).

It would be interesting to see how Samsung addresses the potential heat concerns. The adoption of a Ceramic build may also help the phone to tackle overheating as the vapor chamber’s scope may be different due to a slim form factor.

Samsung is expected to launch the S25 Edge next month. Snapdragon 8 Elite has overheating concerns if the heat generation isn’t handled well. The S25 Edge features a very thin design, hence overheating concerns have arisen.

The Galaxy S25 Edge would be priced around $1100 in the United States. It is said to be available in 256GB and 512GB storage with 12GB RAM. The battery capacity is said to be under 4000mAh and 25W maximum charging speed.

The device has already ditched the Telephoto camera to reduce the thickness. However, the primary camera is slated to feature a 200-megapixel sensor, which would keep the photography capabilities up to the mark for a flagship device.
