Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ getting September 2020 security patch update

After two months of the previous update, now Samsung Galaxy S8 (SM-G950F), and Galaxy S8+ (SM-G966F) receiving a new software update, which brings new security patches released in September 2020. This update primarily improves system security with the latest security patches. This update started rolling out from Germany.

• Security patch level: 2020-09-01

The Galaxy S8 series is receiving the latest patch in European countries including Germany. The software version of this update is G950FXXSADTI1 and G955FXXSADTI1 for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ respectively. More countries and regions are likely to follow soon.
The latest software update doesn’t bring any new features other than the improved security patch 2020
