Apple is looking to make several foldable screen orders from Samsung

Published

Samsung unveiled foldable smartphones last year. Now, Samsung Display is promoting displays to Apple. Samsung is also in contact with Google. Apple is ready to develop its own foldable iPhone. When the deal is decided it is expected to have a great impact on the related industries.

Apple will like the design of the Galaxy Z Flip or Galaxy Z Fold. Rich Leaker John Proser once suggested that the model of the foldable iPhone is now connected to two different screens with keys. It has round stainless steel edges and Faces ID sensors on the exterior and a small forehead.

According to industry, on the 27th,  Samsung created the folding display set and handed it over to Apple. The model actually has a 7.2-inch foldable panel that works like a smartphone. The 7.2-inch Samsung foldable phone is 0.1 inches smaller than the ‘Galaxy Fold’.

Huawei, Microsoft, and Motorola have also released foldable smartphones, and now Apple seems to be lagging behind in the race. Samsung has delivered the task of distributing foldable displays in the future to Apple and Google. Its goal is to introduce new components to potential customers and win futures deals.

If the two companies start developing HW and SW based on foldable displays, the global folding related industry, which has just entered a better phrase, has the potential to grow rapidly.

It is unclear whether Apple and Google will eventually accept Samsung’s folding display. However, the global smartphone market is satisfied. Apple’s iPhone, which has been evolving over the past decade, is also falling in sales.

Google Messages adds waveforms to Voice Recorder UI

Google Messages app Voice recorder ui

Google Messages is getting a new look for its voice recorder UI. The microphone icon in the text field will change to a waveform icon, which is different from the voice typing button in Gboard.

Instead of holding down the mic to record, you will now see a panel with a start/stop button and options to cancel, delete, or attach the recording. You will also see a waveform and a timer while recording, and you can play back the recording before sending it.

The voice messages preview will also show a waveform between the play/pause button and the timer, making it more noticeable than the current straight line.

These changes are not widely available yet, but some users have reported seeing them on their phones. These new changes are part of a bigger redesign that Google is working on for Messages, which includes a revamped home screen that is still in beta testing. Google might announce new features soon.
