3C certificate reveals battery information of Samsung Galaxy S21 and S21+

Last month, Samsung unveiled its latest Note series flagships featuring two new models, and it seems that the South Korean tech giant has already begun to prepare for the launching of the next Galaxy S series smartphones.

Two new Samsung smartphones with model SM-G991 and SM-G996 have recently received a certificate from 3C in China. The model number suggests that these phones come from the upcoming Galaxy S21 series (tentative name) and could be the Galaxy S21 and S21+ respectively.

According to the certificate, the SM-G991 has a 3880mAh battery, while the SM-G996 features a 4660mAh battery. Meanwhile, the certificate reveals that these phones are produced via a local phone maker. This could be an action to reduce some taxation and import tax.

Compared to this, Samsung Galaxy S20 equips a 4000mAh battery and the Galaxy S20+ has a 4500mAh battery. So there could be a slight improvement in the battery performance of the Galaxy S21+. Aside from this battery information, there are no other specs mentioned in the 3C certificates.

For now, Samsung is busy promoting the Galaxy Note 20 series to markets around the globe. Therefore, we’ll have to wait to receive some information on the design and other specs of the Samsung Galaxy S21 devices.
