Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy Note 9 users. The latest software update brings the September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Note 9 users in Germany.

The software version of this update is N960FXXS6ETHB. It should soon be available to other markets. The latest software update doesn’t bring anything other than the improved security patch.

Samsung is likely to release the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy Note 9 users. Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 20 with One UI 2.5 and many new features.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.
